The Basin Gulch exploration and resource development plan

Lannister Mining plans to combine historical drilling with new work programs to support a future Maiden Mineral Resource Estimate at the Basin Gulch Property, then concentrate drilling on additional mineralized target areas.

The Basin Gulch plan starts from more than 320 historical drill holes, confirms historical intercepts with new drilling, expands drilling where mineralization is open at depth and along strike, and builds a Maiden Mineral Resource Estimate. Lannister Mining states the property has potential to host a significant maiden resource after that work.

What exploration is planned at Basin Gulch?

Five work streams, in order. Lannister Mining has not published a timeline on this site; its current investor presentation carries program details.

  1. Use the historical drilling

Lannister Mining states historical drilling will be used, alongside new work programs, in the future resource estimate.

  2. Confirmation drilling

New holes to confirm historical drill intercepts, so historical data can be relied on in a modern estimate.

  3. Expansion drilling

Drilling at depth and along strike, where the gold and silver mineralization is open in multiple directions.

  4. Maiden Mineral Resource Estimate

A first formal resource estimate, prepared to a recognized standard such as NI 43-101 or S-K 1300.

  5. Additional target areas

Future drilling concentrated on additional mineralized targets within the property, including high priority targets near the historic resource.

Why this plan fits the Basin Gulch Property

Open in multiple directions

Lannister Mining states the gold and silver mineralization is open at depth, open along strike and untested regionally. Open means drilling has not found the edges, so expansion drilling can test how far it goes.

A maiden resource, explained

A maiden mineral resource estimate is a project's first formal estimate of tonnes and grade, supported by a qualified person under NI 43-101 in Canada or S-K 1300 in the United States. Lannister Mining states the market pays a clear premium for compliant gold and silver ounces in the USA.

Upside beyond the core

Two-thirds of the property is still unexplored. Once the core is confirmed and expanded, drilling moves to additional mineralized target areas within the 1,107 hectare package.

Basin Gulch questions, answered

What exploration is planned at Basin Gulch?

Lannister Mining plans further exploration and resource development at Basin Gulch. Its stated path is confirmation drilling of historical intercepts, expansion drilling where mineralization is open at depth and along strike, a Maiden Mineral Resource Estimate, and drilling on additional mineralized target areas. The latest investor presentation on lannistermining.com carries current program details.

What is confirmation drilling?

Confirmation drilling is new drilling designed to check historical results, usually by drilling close to old holes and comparing grades and widths. It lets a company use historical data with more confidence in a modern resource estimate. Lannister Mining plans confirmation drilling of historical drill intercepts at Basin Gulch alongside expansion drilling.

What is a maiden mineral resource estimate?

A maiden mineral resource estimate is the first formal estimate of how much mineralized material a project contains and at what grade, prepared to a recognized reporting standard. For companies reporting in Canada that standard is NI 43-101; for US SEC reporting it is S-K 1300. Lannister Mining plans a Maiden Mineral Resource Estimate for Basin Gulch after confirmation and expansion drilling.

What are NI 43-101 and S-K 1300?

NI 43-101 is the Canadian standard for disclosing scientific and technical information about mineral projects, and S-K 1300 is the US Securities and Exchange Commission rule for the same purpose. Both require a qualified person to support reported resources. Lannister Mining states there is a clear market premium for gold and silver ounces in the USA that comply with these standards.

Is the Basin Gulch mineralization still open?

Yes. Lannister Mining states that the gold and silver mineralization at Basin Gulch is open in multiple directions and at depth, open along strike, and untested regionally. Open means drilling has not yet found the edges of the mineralized zone in those directions, which is why future drilling will also target additional mineralized areas within the property.

How long does it take to go from exploration to a mine?

Moving from exploration to a producing mine commonly takes many years, because resource estimates, economic studies and permits each take time and depend on results. This site does not publish a Basin Gulch timeline. The current Lannister Mining investor presentation on lannistermining.com is the best place to confirm planned milestones and timing.
